We enjoyed seeing everyone at the Soil Melding Ceremony last week! This week, the weather has been fantastic, allowing for a lot of activity and productivity!
Here is what has been happening at the site since the event:
- Approximately 11,000 cubic yards of soil (over 500 truckloads) have been excavated from the site—that’s an average of 1,600 cubic yards per day! So far roughly 80% of the garage level has been cleared. Excavation will continue until we are ready to pour the building footings, which are scheduled for October 7.
- Next week, the water main will be installed under the newly excavated garage entry lane.
- Over the next two weeks we are hoping to begin installation of the large retaining walls. Doing so will block the driveway to the site, so we are waiting for an opportune time to do so.
