Construction has begun on the new 51-unit, four-story cooperative living facility in Duluth called Zvago Lake Superior.
It’s marketed for people 62 years and older, and is being built on 3900 London Road next to Ecumen Lakeshore.
Zvago Lake Superior is being developed by OneTwoOne Development, a partnership between Ecumen and Lifestyle communities.
The name and concept for Zvago is based on the Italian word for fun, leisure and recreation.
In a news release, Dena Meyer, Ecumen Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Client Relations, said limited units with both lakefront and private wooded views remain available.
The faciliy is expected to be open in the summer of 2020.
